Hi All,
Trying to setup volume discounts.

I have a product which base value is: $10
This product has 3 choices:
Small = $10
Medium = $20
Large = $30

My volume discount is x500 = $5 (this should just change the base price not the total price)

What should happen:
1x product with the small choice to cart = $20
500x product with the small choice to cart = $10,000 without Volume discount
500x product with the small choice to cart = $7,500 with Volume discount

Instead it looks like the volume discount ignores all choices/varients pricing and I end up with
500x product with the small choice to cart = $2,500 with Volume discount
500x product with the Medium choice to cart = $2,500 with Volume discount
500x product with the Large choice to cart = $2,500 with Volume discount

Have I setup these volume discounts incorrectly? why does the volume discounts ignore additional choices / variants pricing?

Hints to the areas needing to update / fix would be awesome

This sounds like it's working correctly, per the documentation, right?

Hi Will,

I see that it does say that in the documentation, but there should be some workable solution to this.
When you select variants they are normally extras you purchase with the product.

i.e
Chocolate = $5
Choice: Gift Box = $2 (often with products you charge extra for addons)
Volume Discount x3 = $10

3x Chocolate with Gift Box:
Normal Price: $15 + $6 with choices
Volume Discount: Chocolate x3 = $10
Total Price: $16

Your current volume discount ignores all product choices, which I dont see any benefits in having the store setup this way? or at least have the option of selecting if product choices are included in the volume discount or not.
