Hi All,

For one of my clients I need to let users upload an image file when purchasing an item,
Is this a preset option already or will this be something I have to build into my viewset? if possible.

Any advice is welcome!

This is already a supported feature. Please see the documentation article below.

Thanks Will,

Some more questions around the upload field option, is this templated or injected via JS or something?
Would like to make this field optional to upload but I cant seem to change this.

At this time, this feature appears to be a required field. What's the use case you're trying to achieve right now that makes this need to be an optional field?

We would like to have the option for the user to upload their company logo, but sadly not everyone is computer savvy and uploading a logo file seems to be too much for some people...

We would still like for that user to be able to purchase the product without their logo file, So would like the upload field to be optional.
Potentally we would already have their logo saved previously, so there would be no need for this file upload for regular users.

Okay. Right now, there isn't a built-in way to change that through configuration. We'd need to add this as a feature in a future release. You'll want to create an Issue in GitHub to make sure this can get developed by someonee.
