It looks like progress and perhaps even a solution has been found.

I am wondering if this issue only affects one file(I'm guessing based on "one file changed"), is it possible for me to download that one file and replace it in my site? FYI - I know nothing about working with source code so please forgive my ignorance.

Or do I need to wait for an actual release version that is installed as usual?

It's never a great idea for anyone attempt to manually update/upgrade any open-source or other solution. You should always wait for a release, if you can. :)

OK, I understand. Any idea of a timeframe for the next release?
I realize this is open source and contributors are giving of their time for this so I am not trying to push, just wondering about a timeframe.

We have several pending updates sponsored by existing clients, so another release is coming soon but we don't have a date for it. We generally don't provide timelines for open-source projects. Sorry.
