Did you set up the tax correctly?
You can add a tax rate [b]and[/b] a shipping rate when you add a TaxRate…

So you could set taxrate for shipping to 12% for both tax schedules..

Hi, thanks it works now. I now added an entry in the regions as well (I expected that the default worked).
But what is the function of the checkmark box 'Applies to shipping?' ? Because you enter a rate for the transport it should already be calculated.

The "Applies to Shipping" applies the given rate to shipping when the delivery region matches the rule.
As it states in the doc: https://hotcakescommerce....92646-Settings-Taxes

"When this checkbox is checked, the rate you see in the shipping column will be applied to the orders that match the tax area defined in this row."
