In my checkout process at the first step, before the second checkout step to enter name and address, if I proceed with fast Paypal payment I'm redirected to Paypal without shipping fees added to the product.

To proceed to Paypal Payment with the right price amount I need to pass to the checkout process step 2

Is there any way to leave enabled in checkout the fast Paypal payment button but with the right price amount?
or is it necessary to remove Paypal checkout button from the first step to prevent payment with the wrong price?
    Thanks

The PayPal Express terms of service require that the button be shown on both the cart and checkout views. So we won't remove it. But if you'd like to remove it from the cart view for any reason, you can. :)

Thanks Will, I am really grateful for your presence here, it seems that you are the only one able to give answers in this forum.
From your answer I mean that it is not possible at this checkout step to calculate the transport costs for the express Paypal payment, therefore as indicated by you I will proceed with its removal.

Well, I'm sure you'll be able to answer questions of your own too. ;)

You're correct that the cart view is unable to do anything to determine the shipping costs and pass them to PayPal Express. At least, not accurately. If it is left in place, the PayPal Express process will occur as you'd expect, with the checkout amount getting updated after the visitor is returned to the website and enters their shipping address.

Removing it is a far simpler workflow for all parties. This is one of the numerous reasons I really don't like using PayPal for anything. They're the GoDaddy of payment systems. ;)
