What criteria are involved in sending the Abandoned Cart Email?

    When you enable sending a Abandoned Cart email in the settings of hotcakes what does hotcakes look for when sending the email? Does it have to have a customer login attached to the cart or is it good enough to just have the Email field for the Order filled out?

    Hotcakes doesn't currently implement any third-party tools to "lookup" customer information when they're on your site. Such tools exist. So for now, the only way a customer will receive notifications when they abandon their cart is when Hotcakes knows who they are (e.g., they've logged in).
