Hello! At this time, the shipping area of Hotcakes Commerce is one of the only places left where there isn't yet an extension point. So, to add this as a feature, it currently would need to be done as a pull request to the core of Hotcakes. As long as such an update follows contemporary security & performance standards, and it also follows the existing development pattern as the other shipping providers, it will be accepted. :)
