Hi Will, thanks for your reply.

The article you have linked to is in relation to the category names and description where as this question is asking about the "Alternate Search Keywords" in relation to a product. Whilst we understand that the intention of these is to load up to a product and be used by the front end user to search for a product via these terms we are wondering if we could populate a section in our product list in the front end with these terms, effectively creating a tag cloud with them.

Any thoughts on how this might be achieved would be greatly appreciated.

Ah... You definitely can. I don't have a code sample prepared for you, but you'll want to create some custom logic for the tag cloud functionality based on keywords and their frequency, and pull them from the hcc_ProductTranslation table. It would be best to use the server-side API if you can (instead of going directly to the database), and I'd also suggest using the main keywords and not the alternate ones.

Awesome thanks Will, I think that will head us in the right direction! Can you expand on why you'd use the main search words over the alternative? As the finished store is going to be focused around selling photography there probably won't be a lot of descriptive text in the titles or product description itself hence the thoughts around using the alternatives.
