We are using a payment processor that requires each vendor on our site to register with them. When a buyer purchases an item on site, both our Merchant ID and the vendor's Payer ID must be passed to the payment processor's API. A new vendor is required to submit bank data, payment card information and personally identifiable information to the processor in order to be considered.

Initially, we will have the processor host the onboarding process and will need to redirect vendors from our site via hyperlink to the payment processor's site. We will need to store the status code, result message and Payer ID in HotCakes and DNN for the vendor in question.

Can a custom HotCakes module be created to facilitate this process? Ultimately, we will be hosting on a PCI compliant server and will want to host the onboarding process ourselves. What is involved in creating a custom HCC module to this end?
