I disagree and would like to support HCC in their choice. I believe that the community has much to benefit from maintaing a fork as well as the flexibility to provide an enhanced experience for the masses revolving around ecommerce, not a cms. Especially for those that are not familiar with coding or advanced techniques.
We Love HCC and like To support HCC in their Choice too , and also help to improve . Because it being open Source and its seems very good . just we disagree with the way that HCC is going to not to be a part of DNN Community . and uses older version (8.0.3 ) as base .
we think that HCC should focus on E-commerce not CMS , we see that e-commerce module is improving faster than e-commerce CMS, Because they focus on improving E-Commerce capability , not CMS Capability.

Let's face it wordspress/woo commerce has a big share, its time to blow it out of the water and have a great contender for those that endear the MS stack.
Thank for your mention in Woo Commerce , Why it has big share ? what is the reason ? why nowadays most of stack holder and webmaster uses it , Maybe so many of them had CMS before and now want E-commerce in their own Site and extend the Business , not begin to build new Platform and separate E-Commerce solution .they want to have an integrated E-commerce Solution( as Module).

Dont get me wrong, I very much like CMS platform, in fact I am a subscribed Evoq user as well. And do like some of the 9+ changes.
Thank you , I agree , We Love New 9+ Changes, because of that we Love to have HCC on it .

Thanks Will
First of all it seem that there is problem with new version of DNN and HCC.
lets talk about advantage and disadvantage of developing HCC as DNN Module(E-Commerce) or Full Package Of CMS (with an older version! as so many module uses the latest Version of FrameWorks) . while DNN is Improving , Why HCC not Use Them (Using new Feature , Performance , Security and ... within other Modules)
What is problem for being module of DNN that HCC decided to choose full Package (8.0.3) Developing?
What happens if i want to use Any other Powerful Modules of dnn that works only with dnn9 not Older .
we Should use all Features Together (E-Commerce + Gallery + News + Forum and ... withe latest FrameWork)
HCC can offer User all of above module ?!
We should not forget that DNN Is FrameWork.

We have been discussing this topic internally over the past month and we have decided that we will adjust our approach and make the Hotcakes 3.0 module package available for download. This will allow anyone who is running their own version of the CMS to download the module package and utilize it in their installation. There are a few technical issues which need to be addressed before we can publish the module package - which we should have resolved shortly. However, there are also incompatibilities with the latest version of the CMS ( version 9 ) which have been identified. Perhaps there is someone in the community who would like to assist with making the changes necessary to allow Hotcakes to run on this CMS version?

Shuan, thank you. I think this is the way to go. I am very happy knowing this.

I am willing to assist in making the changes. If you give me a list of possible issues I will try to resolve them as soon as possible. Code is my live. You could send me an email if you wish.
