    Hi All,

Just looking for ideas on how someone would go about implementing a stock-photo online store with Hotcakes Commerce.
I have a photographer who would like to sell her 1000+ photos online, I thought using Hotcakes Commerce would be perfect as I had used the "Files To Download" area in the past for .PDF design purchases.

Although when spinning up a demo, I realized that we cannot select multiple categories at once & I would also like to add tags to the products, which can be selected for better filtering. I did see the Alternative Search Keywords when creating the product, is there a way to display these like tags?

Is there a way to deselect categories after they have been selected?
(I can hardcode a link to all products in the Category Menu module - but would rather not do this)

There doesn't seem to be a way to import 1000+ files to download. I tried out the File Vault which gives us quick access to the "files to download" although would prefer if I didn't have to upload 1000+ files to download manually.

Any ideas & suggestions at this point could be a great help!

    Hello:

    Your e-commerce project sounds exciting!

You can certainly import images for products. You'd just need to plan ahead accordingly using the import features. In most stores, you would only use this process for the initial loading up of the store. From that point forward, you'd manage all existing and new products in the store administration area.

As for how you display the photos and categories, it sounds like you'd probably want to try the drilldown version of the category viewer. Though, it does take a bit of set-up to get it working the way you want it to.

This sounds like a new question. New questions should be posted as a new thread in the correct forum so they can help everyone in the community. :) Thanks!
