in HCC 3 , admin panel and menu has been completely destroyed and new panel has been replaced instead of D.N.N Menu for better store management experience.
it seems not good idea , if we put a new Dashboard Module to HCC(visible for some special Roles) , For Example Summary of Store , New Customer , Today Shippment and some main reports. its better for managing store .

What do you mean it's been "destroyed?" We don't have any reports or testing results showing any control panel being broken (that I'm aware of).

destroyed means that replaced and we can see main feature of Commerce Instead of CMS Menu.
1- for easy access of Menu and Function of e-commerce a seprated Page like "DesktopModules/Hotcakes/Core/Admin/orders/default.aspx" and a link to e-commerce is good.
and for better accessibility a module is nice to put on HotCake Package for moderators , like "HotCake Dashboard" to put on main page.

excuse me for using inappropriate word "Destroy" instead of Replace .

    Thanks for the clarification.

For the use case, replacing the control panel was absolutely the right decision. However, in a module package distribution, replacing the control panel isn't. That's not the same use case as deploying a standalone e-commerce CMS, where the entire user experience and branding need to be consistent with a single piece of software/brand.

Going forward the Hotcakes Module package will not override the Control Panel you already have configured in your DNN installation. However, the Hotcakes CMS package will utilize the Hotcakes Control Panel by default to provide the best e-commerce experience. If you do not want to use the Hotcakes Control Panel in the Hotcakes CMS package, you can change it in the Host / Settings.

Nice. Thank you. Actually, hcc3 works well with DNN9, after a number of changes. I will report some of those changes after testing the new hcc3.01, which will be relese soon, Will said.

FYI - We're in the final testing and packaging steps for Hotcakes 03.00.01 right now. If we're lucky, we may release it tomorrow, but worst case scenario should be Monday or Tuesday.

Can we get an update? Or post over in this thread?

I thought we'd be able to have a package tested and ready for release by tomorrow, but we're missing a last critical check-in. I have the source that's going to be checked in, but I'm waiting for the person to officially check it in properly so I can package it the same way we always do, so as to avoid undesired surprises. So we may have to wait until the end of the week. Sorry.
